Finding, and getting to, Poppies Hotel couldn’t be easier. We are located conveniently and prominently on the right hand side of the road as you exit the town of Callander heading north.

General information
International airports at Glasgow and Edinburgh; nearest train stations Dunblane and Stirling connecting with Edinburgh and Glasgow; buses approximately hourly weekdays from Stirling to Callander, reduced service Saturday and Sunday.

From Glasgow Airport

M8 to Junction 25
Take Clyde Tunnel
Follow the A81 sign posted Aberfoyle through
Bearsden
Milngavie (pronounced Milguy)
Strathblane
Just before Aberfoyle turn right to Callander

For a more scenic route you can continue in to Aberfoyle with its Wool Centre and the Queen Elizabeth Forest Visitor Centre. Continuing over Dukes Pass (A821) provides wonderful views over the Trossachs. Continue to the A84 at Kilmahog, passing the Lade Inn on the right. Then turn right towards Callander.

Take route sign posted Airport and follow the next instructions.

From Edinburgh Airport
Take the A8 to the Newbridge Interchange
M9 to Junction 10 just after Stirling
Exit at J10 on to A84 to Callander

From Perth
A93 to Junction A9/A93/M90
A9 to Junction A9/A820
A820 to Doune
Turn right on to A84 sign posted Callander

From Stirling
Head for the M9 and junction 10 then take the A84 all the way to Callander.
